shows the values that the SQL-89 and SQL-92 standards define for SQLCODE.


 


SQLCODE         MESSAGE         INTERPRETATION


 


0                       SUCCESS         The
operation completed successfully.


 


1–99                SQLWARNING    Warning or information message from the
server.


 


100                NOT
FOUND        An operation was requested
for which no rows were found. This is not an error—it often just means that na end-of-file
or end-of-cursor condition was detected or simply that no matching value was
found.


 


<0              SQLERROR          Indicates the SQL statement did not
complete. The numbers fall into broken ranges between –1 and –999.


 


The mapping
of negative SQLCODEs to actual errors is not defined by the standards. Firebird’s
negative SQLCODEs are quite generalized and provide groupings that are largely
coincidental and often bemusing. For example, while it is possible to guess that
an SQLCODE of –204 means “something unknown,” the code on its own tells nothing
about what is unknown.

Bom dia pessoal.

    Talvez seja "off-topic", mas gostaria de saber como obter no Delphi o SQL Error code que o Firebird gera quando ocorre uma exceção EDatabaseError.
    Por favor desculpem-me se esta dúvida não couber nesta lista ok?
